Project

Hands On | Typography | Typography 2

For this project, we were proposed to think about how we utilize typography. How can we use typography and typographic messages to help solve problems? How do we interact with words all the time? What is basic communication? Why does how you communicate matter? What is the best way to communicate a message? The experience that I found myself interested in was learning sign language. Hands On is an interactive way to learn ASL, the alphabet and finger-spelling. To bridge the gap for people who want to learn ASL, using the tiles allows for someone to learn the alphabet and use the tiles to begin to learn how to finger-spell names places and other things that do not have a gesture in sign language.
